Meet Your Directors!

We would love to introduce ourselves. Mindy is our Curriculum, Company, and Program Director. Danielle is our Community, Events, and Performance Director. Together we make a dynamic team ready to welcome your dancer in with open arms.

Danielle McKee is a certified dance educator with her certification in Dance Education from the National Dance Education Foundation, Progressive Ballet Techniques and Acro Dance Arts certification.  She is also a judge, master class teacher, and award winning choreographer. She enjoys teaching and training all students in the art of dance. Danielle trains to the foundation “you are exactly the person you were created to be and that is enough”.

Her goal is for every student, no matter the age or skill level, to feel accepted, pushed, and empowered in all things while learning proper technique, vocabulary and respect for the art. She dances because as a dancer there is no other choice, the music calls and you listen. Dance is an international language that has no barriers. I am so exited to be opening a studio with my best friend and being your community and performance director.

Mindy Bailey Owner, Director

Mindy Bailey started dancing at the age of 12 when trying out for the McMillan Junior High drill team. I originally tried out to make new friends as I had only been living in Wylie for about two years. Looking back on that choice, I’ll forever be grateful as it has provided not only friendships but unforgettable experiences in dance. I auditioned for Wylie High School’s drill team and was on the team throughout my four years there. Though it was never easy as dancing was still new to me, I worked hard at what I wanted. My senior year I was a Lieutenant on the officer line.

After High school I stayed local and went to Collin College, took dance classes, and started working for Dance Company of Wylie. I started as an Assistant and worked my way up. While working for Dance Company of Wylie, I realized that I had an opportunity to be something I didn’t have while I was dancing. I mentor to those who needed the extra push or someone who too had been the underdog. After working for about two years as an Assistant, I became a teacher for recreational classes and started assisting for our company teams Tiny 1, Tiny 2, and Tap 1. I became an Assistant Director after working with the studio for 5 years. I’ve directed teams such as Pre-Tiny, Tiny 2, Mini, Tween, Junior Intermediate, Fireworks, and our Intermediate Tap 3 Company. Mindy is certified in Rhythmic Works and the head of our probabilities team! Now I am excited to have the opportunity to own a studio and be your program and company director.
